ACCELERATED SCHOOLS GRADUATION 2021

GRADUATION

May 28, 2021

Commencement exercises were held on the grounds of Accelerated Schools on May 28, 2021. Eight students were able to participate in the ceremony.

The program began with Pomp and Circumstance played by our music teacher, Valerie Montano. Enrollment Counselor Kyle Pepper read the invocation. Executive Director Michelle Tuegel introduced the staff to the audience.

This was followed with the student awards:

Evan Simpson, Dean of Students, was delighted to present student Sam McDonald with the Citizenship Award.

The prestigious Presidential Outstanding Achievement Award was given to Mae Sorrensen by Kyle Pepper and Michelle Tuengel.

Audrey Cvietusa then followed with the Senior Address to the community.

Principal Aundrea McCormick and Dean of Students Evan Simpson read the family tributes to the graduates, which is always an emotional high for this special occasion, it produced some tears, a few laughs, and a lot of smiles. Junior Anthony Scalercio followed with a musical interlude.

The culmination piece was the presentation of the class by the principal followed by the presentation of diplomas by the teaching staff. In addition to the students already mentioned, the following students also went through ceremonies: Calvin Allshouse, Ty Kendrick, Annillia Matteson, Samantha Morrow, and Chas Shafer.

Enrollment Counselor Liam Murphy gave the benediction before all adjourned for cake and refreshments.

Congratulations and best luck to all of the graduates. It has been a great ride and we look forward to watching you grow into the larger roles you will be playing in life after Accelerated Schools.
