Community Outing to the Rock Creek Farm

At Accelerated Schools, we believe it is important for students to get exposure to the community. On Thursday, October 17th, 2019, we took eligible students in Elementary, Middle, and High School on a community outing to the Rock Creek Farm in beautiful Boulder County. Students had the opportunity to navigate through an intricate corn maze, pick pumpkins at a pumpkin patch overlooking the Flatirons, and view several types of farm animals located on the property. The day was filled with laughs (mostly caused by the resident mooing sheep), fun, and exploration and it seemed that every student really enjoyed being in the outdoors on a beautiful Colorado fall afternoon. Overall, the trip was a great success! I included some pictures from the day trip below.
